Enable Access
1. Navigate: Organisation Settings → Staff Tab → Staff Positions
a. “Open” the Staff position to be in charge of managing the feature i.e Admin
2. Check “Manage Leave Settings”
Enable & Configure Feature
1. Navigate: Organisation Settings → Staff → Staff Leave Settings
2. Check the “Enable Feature” box.
3. “Clients to Apply rule”
a. Select the Client assigned to the appointments that should be split. e.g: “Internal Client”
4. “Staff Positions to Apply rule”
a. Select the Staff positions whose leave will be split when clashing with an appointment for the above client.
Use the drop down arrow to see available Clients or Staff Positions.
Quick “Select All”.
Select or deselect individual options.
Filter the list by searching.
Clear all selected options.
If Leave Splitting is enabled, you will be unable to reassign appointments to other staff members.
Using Feature & Expected Outcomes
Expected Outcome
Conditions:
Appointment is for the configured “Client”
Leave is requested by a Staff member with the configured Staff Position.
Leave has some overlap with the appointment.
Outcome:
The section of the appointment, that clashes with the leave is hidden.
Note: Appointments that are affected by this rule, will not be reassigned to the selected “Reassign” Staff member.
Deleting the “Approved Leave” will return the Original Appointment to the Original Staff member.
