The following details the options available on any Roster page when you right click on a appointment.
Please note that SMS functionality mentioned below will only work if your organisation has a ClickSend account and your Nightingale is set up by our team. Please contact us for more information.
New Appointment
Right-clicking on an empty space (i.e. a space with no appointments) on the calendar gives the following options:
Other options might be presented depending on which calendar view you are currently using. In the screenshot above X Minutes is shown because the full week view is selected.

| New Appointment | Create a new non-recurring appointment. Default start/end time will fill the calendar cell you clicked on. |
| New All Day Event | Create a new non-recurring appointment that lasts 24 hours. |
| New Recurring Appointment | Create a new recurring series of appointments. Default start/end time will fill the calendar cell you clicked on. Start date defaults to the day of the calendar you clicked on. |
| New Recurring Event | Create a new recurring series of appointments that each lasts 24 hours. Start date defaults to the day of the calendar you clicked on. |
| Change View To | Shows a selection of different calendar views, including as daily, work week, full week, monthly, agenda and timeline views. |
| X Minutes | Interval which the calendar is displayed. |
Existing Appointment
Right clicking on an existing appointment on the calendar gives the following options:

| Option | Details |

| Open | Open this appointment for editing. If this appointment is part of a recurring series, any edits will only apply to this particular appointment and not others in the series. Some fields like assigned staff cannot be edited if the appointment is part of a series (you must use Edit Series to change these fields). |
| Cancel Appointment | Mark this appointment as cancelled. Other appointments in a series will not be affected by this if this appointment is part of that series. |
| Archive Appointment | If you wish to remove or delete an appointment, you can archive a single appointment, the entire series of appointments or just all appointments going forwards in time. |
| Edit Series | Edit the whole recurring series this appointment is part of. Any edits will apply to every appointment in this series unless that appointment has been edited individually. |
| Convert to Single Appointment | Remove an appointment from a series. This allows you to edit all the appointment's fields without affecting the series it used to be part of. |
| Find Available Staff | Bring up a page that shows which staff members are available during this appointment and assign one of them to this appointment if you wish. |
| Send Client SMS Update | Send this appointment's client an SMS. The contents of the SMS will depend on your organisation's client SMS template. See article on Client/Staff SMS Templates for details. |
| Send Staff SMS Update | Send this appointment's staff member an SMS. The contents of the SMS will depend on your organisation's staff SMS template. See article on Client/Staff SMS Templates for details. |
| Open Client Dashboard | Opens the dashboard of this appointment's client. |
| Attend & Create Client Case Note | Mark the appointment is attended and open a page for creating a case note based on this appointment. The attendance status and case note type are specified under Organisation Settings > Calendar > Settings. See article on Calendar Settings for details. |
| Create Client Case Note | Open a page for creating a case note based on this appointment. |
