How do I generate a DEX case validation report?

Overview

The DEX Case Validation Report is used to validate that there is no missing information for the mandatory fields dictated by the clients Organisation Activity Settings.

Access

To access this report, you will need to have the “Government DEX ->DEX Case Validation Report” position access setting enabled for your position. This can be found in Organisation Settings>Staff>Staff Positions> Position, on the Reports & Forms tab underneath Position Access.

Using the Report

The DEX Case Validation Report can be found in Reports & Forms>Government tab.

The report will open like this:

Pencil Icon

The pencil icon will take you to the Edit DEX Details page for that client.

Columns Button

The columns button allows you to show and hide certain columns on the table. To enable the columns, check the boxes in the popup and click save.

Columns can also be dragged and dropped to change their position.

Layouts

This page has a new feature called Layouts, which allow you to customise and save the layout of columns.

To use this feature, customise the table to your liking and click Save Layout in the top left of table.

You can then set this layout as the default view, by using the checkbox in the save layout window.

The default view will load automatically when you come and visit this page again later on.

Switching Between Saved Layouts

Use the “Layouts” button to switch between two or more saved layouts. The active column will toggle the currently active layout and close will close the layouts pop-up window.

Export to CSV

It’s often useful to export table data to CSV. The CSV export will only include the visible columns and will apply any filters used at the time of export.
